Get Involved!

Gun Hill Road needs YOU! Our supporters and fans have played a vital role in our success to date, and will become increasingly important as we continue to move forward with the theatrical release of Gun Hill Road.

There are many ways you can get involved, whether as an individual, a group of friends or an organization -- and it's easy! All you need to do is click on a link to the left and sign up.

How YOU Can Get Involved!

Foot Soldiers Street Team
We are building street teams in our key release cities (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami) of volunteers who will help us spread the word about GHR by participating in local events, placing promotional materials, and recruiting people to come see the film when it opens. Our Foot Soldiers will receive a GHR tee shirt, two tickets to see the film during opening week in your city, and a mini-poster signed by members of the cast and crew. This is a great way to get involved with your friends and to meet more!

Web Warriors Online Team
No matter where you are, you can join our Web Warriors. Social media and online networking are a key part of our release strategy from Facebook posting and Tweeting to sharing online reviews of the film -- building a powerful online buzz about GHR will not only be crucial to filling seats in our first four release cities, but also to building a national demand for Gun Hill Road and getting the film in theaters across the United States! The best part of being a Web Warrior is that you can do it when you have time -- whether that's once a week for a few minutes, every day or anything in between. Our Web Warriors will receive a GHR tee shirt, two tickets to see the film if it comes to your city OR a free digital download of the film when it is released digitally, and a mini-poster signed by members of the cast and crew.

Groups and Organizations
Gun Hill Road is actively seeking groups and organizations whose missions are in alignment with the themes of the film to join forces with us in our release cities in order to spread the word and fill theaters during release week. There are three key ways your group or organization can get involved:

1. Include GHR information on your website and social media outlets. We will provide you with a blurb about the film, artwork and screening times/links to post on your website and/or events page and social media outlets.

2. Include GHR information in your monthly e-blasts. We will provide you with any content you require, including artwork and screening links.

3. Send out our Relase Announcement forward-on email to your list. We will provide you with the e-mail which you can easily send to your list and they, in turn, can easily forward it on to their networks or post the link to Facebook and Twitter.

All of our partner groups will be included on our website and on promotional materials (based on production schedules) including tee shirts. We will promote partner organizations in our outreach to our email subscribers, on all of our social media outlets and through press outreach as appropriate. When we are able, we will work with theaters to negotiate group ticket pricing (typically for groups of 20 or more) that you can offer your constituents to attend a screening of Gun Hill Road as a group. Additionally, if you have upcoming events or fund-raisers we will be happy to help you promote them through our social media outlets and our newletter, space allowing.

Host a Screening
In each city, we will designate specifc screenings that can be "hosted" by your organization. We will work with you to create an emailable invitation that you can send out to your constituents inviting them to your hosted screening, if you have enough people, we will work with the theater to negotiate group ticket rates when possible, and, based on theater regulations and cast/crew schedules, we may be able to ask a member of our cast or crew to attend and do a quick Q & A following the screening. Hosted Screenings are a simple way to gather members of your group in a fun and informal setting and a really wonderful way to help GHR fill seats for "off-time" screenings.
